Armenian Entrepreneur with Harvard MBA to Lecture at AUA on Profits & Business Management

Founder & CEO of MLL Industries to Share Insights on Planning and Operating a Profitable Business

YEREVAN–Arthur Mikaelyan, the Founder and CEO of MLL Industries–a highly successful construction company in Armenia–will be lecturing on business profitability at the American University of Armenia on Tuesday, November 27.

The lecture, titled “How to plan, fund and operate a profitable business,” will be held in room 308E at 6:30pm (Armenia Time). The educational event is part of a series of Entrepreneurship and Innovation events being organized by AUA’s Center for Business Research and Development.

Mr. Mikaelyan has an MBA from Harvard and is a member of the Harvard Alumni Club of Armenia. He obtained his B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Southern California in 1997.

After returning to Armenia and completing his military service, he joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in Armenia as the Manager of the Capital Markets Monitoring Unit.

After several years with PWC, Mr. Mikaelyan decided to start his own construction company, MLL Industries, in 2001. His goal was to specialize in Civil Engineering and Construction projects throughout Armenia.

In the last few years, MLL Industries has successfully completed numerous large-scale commercial, residential, retail and office building construction projects, including the new American Embassy building and new terminal at the Yerevan International Airport.

Mr. Mikaelyan has been an active member of the Young Presidents Organization since 2009 and is an Angel Investor, providing initial investment capital to start-up projects.
